The ITIL® 4 Foundation exam by PeopleCert is intended to assess whether the candidate can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the ITIL® 4 service management framework, as described in the official qualification syllabus. The ITIL® 4 Foundation certification is a prerequisite for higher-level ITIL® 4 qualifications, which assess the candidate’s ability to apply their understanding of relevant areas within the context of the framework.

Upon completing the course at PMG Academy, students will receive a Certificate of Participation in PDF format. This document serves as proof that they have completed an official course and are therefore eligible to register for the exam provided by PeopleCert. Issuing this certificate is a requirement established by Axelos.

About the course

Why does this course provide a Certificate of Participation instead of a Certificate of Completion?

Issuing a Certificate of Participation is a requirement from Axelos. Since January 1, 2020, no Accredited Training Organization (ATO) provider is authorized to issue certificates for Axelos qualifications, except Axelos itself.

But don’t worry — upon completing the PMG Academy course, you will receive a Certificate of Participation in PDF format. This serves as proof that you have completed the official course and enables you to register for the exam offered by PeopleCert.

What is the course language?

All course content, including practice exams and exercises, is available in Portuguese, English, or Spanish. You choose your preferred language at purchase.

Please note that language changes are not permitted after purchase.

Does this course reflect the latest exam updates?

Yes. As PMG Academy is an official and accredited organization, we are required to keep the course continuously updated in accordance with the latest version of the international exam and the official syllabus. Failure to do so would result in losing our accreditation. 🙂

Are the mock exam questions the same as the real exam?

As an official training organization, we cannot share actual exam questions, as it is illegal and does not guarantee genuine learning for the student.

The practice exams are designed to test your knowledge of the areas related to the exam. Therefore, if you simply memorize the questions without understanding the answers, you may not succeed in the exam. True success comes from a solid understanding of the concepts covered during the course.

About the Retake (Take2 / Resit)

Is a retake part of the package?

No. The retake (retest) must be purchased either at the time of buying the course + exam (in the cart) or within 24 hours after purchasing the ITIL 4 Foundation training.

With the retake, you secure a second chance in case you don’t pass the exam.

What’s the deal with the retake?

Candidates have up to 6 months to prepare for and take their retake exam, starting from the date of the initial exam. In other words, you have 1 year to complete the exam, and if you don’t pass, an additional 6 months to prepare for your retake!

The retake can only be used once. Retake purchases are only allowed for each new exam bought. If you fail both attempts, simply purchase another full-priced exam and opt for a retake again.

You cannot opt for the retake after the voucher has been issued. This decision must be made as soon as possible!

We cannot sell the retake separately from the exam, as it is not permitted by PeopleCert. Therefore, candidates must first purchase the exam through PMG Academy and will then receive a link to opt for the retake.

If a student fails and has not purchased the retake, they must purchase a new voucher at full price.

What is the price of the retake and how can I buy it?

If you wish to purchase the retake option—securing a second chance in case you fail—you can do so for $83.00 (subject to change). This must be paid before the voucher is issued. Once the voucher is issued or the exam is taken, it is no longer possible to generate a retake.

If you pass the exam, the retake fee is non-refundable by the institute and cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for credit toward other products. Consider this option as an insurance policy—you must opt for the retake before taking the exam (it works like insurance that must be chosen before the incident, not after).

Once the exam payment is processed, we will send you an email offering this option along with all the necessary procedures.

Can I use the retake if I don’t take the exam on time?

NO! The retake can only be used if you fail the first exam. It cannot be used as a substitute for a missed exam.
